A Bit About Adi Kailash & Om Parvat

Adi Kailash is also known as Shiva Kailash, Chota Kailash, Baba Kailash or Jonglingkong Peak. According to Hindu mythology, it was the first stop of the wedding procession when Lord Shankar was on way to marry Goddess Parvati.

Adi Kailash yatra is the spiritual tour for Om Parvat and Mount Adi Kailash. Mount Adi Kailash is exactly a mirror image of Mt Kailash. Adi Kailash trek is just 3 Km now. Earlier it is a very tough trek for more than 160 KM. But now the government has built a motorable road. So now the maximum distance is covered by road and only 3 KM trek is left in Adi Kailash yatra.

Kathgodam/Haldwani - Dharchula (270 KMs / 9-10 Hrs)

The journey starts from Kathgodam /Haldwani and the first halt is Bhimtal followed by Neem Karoli Baba Temple at Kainchi Dham, to Dharchula. – Overnight in the Hotel. (Hotel on Twin / Triple sharing basis) (Meals: Dinner)

Dharchula - Gunji / Nabi Gaon(80 KMs/ 5 Hrs) 3200 M

Departure to Gunji early morning after Breakfast. Documentation, Medical and Inner Line permit will be done in Dharchula, required as we will be travelling along Nepal border. The road condition is not so good hence it takes atleast 5 to 6 hrs to cover 80 kms – we use powerfull vehicles to transport you with comfortable seats. Upon arrival check into your homestay/lodge and later walk around the village and enjoy the panoramic view of the mountains. Later come back to the Homestay/lodge for dinner and overnight stay. (Meals: B, L, D)

Gunji - Adi Kailash-Gunji (40 KMs/3hrs) 4497 M

Early morning retreat for visit to Adi Kailash. Enroute we will spot Kunti Parvat, Pandav Fort, and Parvati Mukut. After 3 km of walking from Jyolingkong we reach Parvati Sarovar and Adi Kailash Temple. We will arrange a Hawan Ceremony and then at around by 1500 hrs we start back to Nabi Village – upon arrival check in yr homestay. Evening free. (Meals: B, L, D)

Gunji - Om Parvat- Nabi/Gunji - Dharchula

After breakfast in Gunji, departure for OM Parvat darshan. and can see a “Miracle of Nature” where Snow lies on the mountain in the shape of ॐ. The viewpoint for Om Parvat remains Nabidang. On return we see Shesh Nag Parvat and Ved Vyas Gufa opposite Kali Temple. A group Hawan is organised at Kali Temple, Kalapani. Cultural Performance by locals. After that we start proceeding back to Nabi Gaon - check in yr homestay. Evening free. (Meals: B, L, D)

Gunji - Dharchula - overnight in Dharchula

After Breakfast in Gunji we proceed to Darchula – evening check in the Hotel if you wish you can visit Nepal border for shopping and later back to the hotel and rest overnight in the hotel. Darchula – a heaven for the traditionally used medicinal plants – the reported plants spices are highly valued in the Indian , Chinese and Tibetan market. (Hotel on Twin / Triple sharing basis) (Meals: B, L, D)

Dharchula - Kathgodam / Haldwani

Lv after breakfast from Darchula to Kathgodam/Hadwani with memory of Adi Kailash.

Terms & Conditions

Adi Kailash Yatra comes in adventure segment so it’s not smooth like regular pleasure tour packages. Roads after Dharchula is there but not smooth & generally covered by Bolero which is not comfortable. We make sit only 4-5 persons in 1 Bolero to make it slightly better. In case of any road block or land slide, people have to trek for some distance. Itineraries are subjected to change / modified in unavoidable circumstances.

He/she has a valid Govt issued id proof (Aadhar Card / Passport / Voter I Card / Driving Licence)

Fill Adi Kailash Yatra 2022 Registration form, Paste 1 coloured photo on it.
Pay non-refundable Registration Amount in Corporate Bank Account or online & mention transaction number on registration form.
Attach self-attested copy of identity proofs Like Valid Indian Passport / Aadhaar Card / Voter ID Card + 3 Photographs
